YOUR CHILD'S BESPOKE SLEEP PLAN
There are various methods to get your child to sleep that I use and teach. These strategies are based on individual family needs and preferences.
I'll Learn About Your Child
As a parent, no one knows your child better than you. That’s why we will discuss your child’s sleep habits before designing a customised gentle sleep plan to get your child to sleep.
After we’ve got to know all about you and your child, I’ll lay out a plan. This will detail the steps that you’ll need to help get your child to sleep in an easy-to-follow, step-by-step format.
Explain How to Measure Success
I will also explain what results can be achieved at what stage. The end goal is to get to the point where your child will sleep 12-hours a night. However, this will not usually happen on the first night (although it might!)
Manage Your Expectations
As part of the gentle sleep training programme, I’ll tell you exactly what to expect and take the uncertainty and guesswork out.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY INITIAL CONSULTATION?
There is no such thing as too much information!
Each sleep plan is bespoke to you, your child and family circumstances so the more information the better.
DO YOU OFFER REMOTE CONSULTATIONS?
All consultations can be via FaceTime/WhatsApp/phone, location is irrelevant!
WILL THERE BE CRYING?
Parents often ask 'Will there be crying involved?' I am first and foremost a Mum myself and I myself don't like the idea of hearing my little ones cry. My method does not rely on leaving your child alone to cry.
I can’t guarantee you there will be no crying, with any changes to the way we sleep, there are likely to be some.
What I can say is that with my methods is that you will be able to be with your child whilst supporting them through gentle methods to learn the important skill of independent sleeping and it is something you feel comfortable with.
